7 Random Facts About Kristen

(www.sass-pants.com) — A reader of my freelance writing blog tagged me for the 7 Random Things meme, so here we go:

1. I played Doc in my preschool’s production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I still remember getting fibers from my fake beard stuck in my mouth and crying in the middle of it because I wanted some apple juice.
2. About six months after I randomly messaged him through Classmates.com, I got an e-mail back from this guy I haven’t seen since we were in like third grade. Despite age, maturity, etc., my heart jumped a little at getting a personal note from the class heartthrob.
3. The thought of going to my 10-year high school reunion simultaneously thrills and repulses me.
4. I detest Facebook for reasons I can’t clearly articulate without becoming agitated, but I finally buckled and got a Facebook account so I can see other people’s pages. I hate myself for it.
5. Even though you’re not supposed to have a favorite child, I totally do. If dogs count as kids that is, seeing as how we don’t have kids yet.
6. Court television shows like Judge Judy are strangely fascinating to me, and I secretly watch them when my husband isn’t home. If he arrives suddenly, I change the channel and act like I was watching the news or PBS or something.
7. I think anyone who claims that they never pick their nose is a liar.
