I mopped and mopped and discovered that the only effective means of getting that smell out of the floor was ammonia mixed with hot water. It works. I don't know of any solution for getting rid of the odor; sorry. I only own a cat, and she uses her litter box, although that odor is nasty in itself if I don't clean it out frequently. Oh, and my cat Sophie doesn't like getting wet either, although she'll stop in after someone's taken a shower to drink whatever water deposits are left on the shower floor. I saw her shaking her paws off when she got out the other day. She loves the water enough to get her feet wet! (Even though there is water in her water bowl; go figure.)
