I know it was tough for you after Tina Fey left, and it’s even worse now that Amy Poehler is gone, too. But it’s time to pull yourself together. You still have okay writers even without those two. I mean. Seth Meyers isn’t half bad.
The thing is, you’re really not fooling anyone with those extended musical interludes before commercial breaks. We all know that when you add up that wasted time, it’s one more mediocre sketch you don’t have to write.
I know you can make it happen, SNL. We’ve been friends a long time. So whatever you need to do to get yourself back in order, I’ll support you in it. I’m here for you. But only for maybe another half season if you keep sucking as you have been lately. Just saying.
