Kristen King, LLC, respects your privacy, and we want to make sure you know exactly what kinds of data we may collect from site users and what we do with that data. By visiting and using Kristen King, LLC, websites, including those within the kristenking.com domain and those hosted elsewhere, you, the visitor, agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use this site or provide personal information.
Kristen King, LLC, collects three (3) kinds of data from users:

Voluntary Information You Provide
Any time you fill out a form on this site or others owned by Kristen King, LLC, including leaving a comment or making a purchase, you provide personal information to Kristen King, LLC. We may use this information to contact you if there is a problem with your account, to respond privately to a public request or comment for which a public response would be in some way inappropriate, to deliver information such as order confirmations or marketing communications you’ve opted into, or for other relevant business purposes. We promise that we will never knowingly disclose this information to any third party without your permission, and have taken reasonable security precautions to safeguard your information from third parties. Any information you provide in a public part of the site (such as in the comment field when leaving a comment on a blog post) is accessible to the public and Kristen King, LLC, will not be held liable for any problems arising from such disclosure.
Anonymous Nonpersonal Information
When you visit sites owned by Kristen King, LLC, we automatically collect anonymous nonpersonal information through Google Analytics to help us understand our site users and better tailor our content to those users. Information collected includes but is not limited to length and time of visit, page of entry or exit, which pages you viewed during your visit, your browser and operating system, your approximate geographical location (eg, country, state, city), etc. This helps us determined where our users come from and what material interests them most. We may share this nonpersonal information with third parties as is necessary to conduct business.
Cookie-Based Information
Cookies are little pieces of information stored on your computer to save website preferences and other online data for a smoother Web experience. For instance, cookies tell the “subscribe to the RSS feed” notification on every page whether you’re a new or returning user so it knows what message to show you. Cookies also auto-fill your username and password on sites you frequently visit. You can turn off cookies in your browser’s settings.

Terms and Conditions
Client Personal Responsibility & Limitations of Coaching
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “coaching” refers to such services as one-on-one coaching; group coaching; business and personal consulting; use of information products such as classes, courses, webinars, ebooks, etc.; and other related services.
Coaching is a professional partnership in which we work together to clarify areas that you would like to improve and work toward achieving your desired outcomes in those areas. Coaching may include plans, strategies, tactics, or approaches to solving problems and improving current or past results; these are recommendations, not directives or requirements. You are responsible for using your own personal and professional judgment when choosing to implement (or not) any recommendation, and you are wholly responsible for any resulting outcomes from those choices.
Coaching is different from therapy in that we will address an any obstacles that keep you from achieving your goals without making diagnosis, creating a treatment plan, or engaging in therapy or any psychological area that requires training and licensing. If in the course of our coaching engagement Kristen King, LLC, discerns that consulting, therapy, or other services may be of benefit to you, we will bring this to your attention and, where appropriate, make a referral.
You are responsible for creating the results you want to see from coaching. It’s your job, and yours alone, to get what you came for.
Payment & Refund Policy
All prices and fees are listed in United States Dollars.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, program tuition, enrollment fees, and other monies paid to Kristen King, LLC, are nonrefundable. If you decide to withdraw from coaching, consulting, use of an information product, or other products or services after submitting your payment, you forfeit the full tuition.
In most cases, a payment plan is available and will be billed on the same day of each month until the full amount is paid in full. By opting for a payment plan, you agree that you are responsible for paying the full cost of the program, product, or service you are purchasing or enrolling in. You also agree to make all payments on time. Failure to make payments on time or cancellation of scheduled payments will result in forfeiture of scheduled coaching sessions, removal from membership/class programs, loss of access to information products, or other similar outcomes. In the event you experience a delay in making scheduled payments, you must contact Kristen King, LLC, in writing immediately to avoid loss of access to products and services.
There is no penalty for paying off your plan early if you so desire. Please notify Kristen King, LLC, in writing so we can update your payment schedule and cancel any redundant pre-scheduled payments.

In the course of coaching and provision of other services and products, Kristen King, LLC, may provide a variety of materials and resources to you to enhance your learning and support your goals. All of these materials are protected by copyright—Kristen King’s or others’. Unless otherwise noted, all content is Copyright © 2004-2023 Kristen King, All Rights Reserved. Please note that unauthorized copying or distribution of copyright-protected materials is prohibited by Title 17 of the U.S. Code.
Any exercises and printed materials from the Life Purpose Institute (LPI) or The Life Coach School (LCS) are copyrighted and are for use only by a coach certified by these organizations. You may not copy these materials or distribute them to any third party by any means physical or electronic or in any other form, without the express written permission of these organizations.
Notwithstanding these limitations, you may freely share your personal experience of receiving coaching or other services/products and of using the materials. You agree that you will keep any materials provided confidential and will honor their copyright-protected status.
Confidentiality
Your identity as a coaching client and all communications between you and Kristen King, LLC, will be held as confidential, to the extent permitted by law, unless you give me express permission to disclose specific information. Certain pieces of data may be shared within the Kristen King, LLC, business organization in the course of conducting business (including but not limited to such tasks as invoicing, bookkeeping reconciliation, or document management performed by appropriately trained staff under my supervision).
Although Kristen King, LLC, routinely shares anonymized client results that do not contain identifying information (e.g., “Love that my client, a working mom of 3, has officially lost 50 lbs!” or “So proud of my client in Amsterdam for closing her first $25k sale 2 months into her business!”), we will never disclose that you, you specifically, are a client of Kristen King, LLC, to anyone outside of my business organization without your explicit permission, except as required by law. However, if you have publicly disclosed this yourself, we are no longer under any obligation to hold this relationship confidential — even though we will still treat your information as private unless you explicitly agree otherwise.
Release of Information
As a professional coach, Kristen King engages in training and continuing education in order to pursue and/or maintain credentials with certifying bodies including but not limited to Life Purpose Institute, The Life Coach School, and the International Coach Federation (ICF). That process requires that Kristen King, LLC, periodically provides the names and contact information of clients for possible verification by certifying bodies.
By purchasing information products, coaching or consulting services, or other products and services from Kristen King, LLC, you agree to have only your name, contact information, and start and end dates of product/service provision shared with staff members and/or other parties involved in the certification and accreditation process process for the sole purpose of verifying the coaching/consulting/service/product relationship; personal session notes will not be shared.
